As building owners, you are required to register your cooling towers with New York City. The cooling towers, any fluid coolers, or evaporative condensers have to be registered with the Department of Buildings. Please follow this link to register.

The Order of the Commissioner was released in August of 2015
Failure to comply with this order is a complete violation of health code.
It is considered a misdemeanor and you could incur hefty fines or even imprisonment.
